Dr Organic Manuka Honey deodorant

I have used this product for well over a month with fantastic results. I had been meaning to try a natural deodorant for a while, but most tend to be too expensive. There are a whole range of products by Dr Organic at Holland and Barratt and I have only ever had good experiences with them (the deodorant, the Manuka Honey face scrub, Royal Jelly shampoo & Olive oil conditioner...) It keeps a beautiful, sweet, fresh smell all day... the same amount of time as a less natural deodorant, which is what I was skeptical about. The scent is much stronger than a 'mainstream' deodorants smell. I really like this, because I think it smells gorgeous. Not too chemically and strange. When it runs out, I'm definitely re-purchasing, vair vair impressed indeed. Don't ever want to go back to other kinds of deodorants.

Product review; Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long deep treatment

I got this deep treatment conditioner for around £4.99 I believe which is sightly more on the pricey side of drugstore brands. Aussie products are renowned for giving great results, however, since I use such an obscene amount of conditioner, a 250ml bottle lasted me about... 5 washes. It is advertised as a deep treatment but I tend to deep condition every wash. So the price value depends on how much you use! I do use a lot more than most people though.

Okay - on my bottle it tells me I apparently have the new formula, enriched with Aloe Vera. The smell is different from the signature, bubblegum-like Aussie scent - it is in my opinion much better. I can't really explain it. It is fresh, fruity, feminine, creamy smelling. That was probably a crap explanation.

The consistency is fairly thick, the treatment is white in colour, and it really does feel luxurious to put on your hair... I could compare it to Redken's Heavy Cream, which is just over three times the price. Although perhaps a tiny bit less thick in consistency. The product suggests you leave it on for 2-3 minutes (depending on how much of a treat it needs) but ... since I am silky soft hair obsessed, I generally leave it for 10 - 15 minutes beneath a shower cap while I get on with my other showery duties...

It feels really gorgeous to wash out, the smell stays, and I really would call this one of my favourite hair products. I will without a doubt re purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone with dry hair. It left my hair very soft, moreso than other, similarly priced brands. & I am very fussy when it comes to hair conditioners! Not many have been repurchased but this, I completely recommend! :)

First ever post...!

Hello world of bloggers and like minded women (& men?) - This is yet another beauty blog dedicated to giving me a reason to believe buying so many beauty products is somehow necessary... I'm here to write reviews on everything I try, rate perfumes, skin care products, hair care products, make-up... you name it. I'm particularly partial to buying far too many perfumes and hair products especially, so expect lots of those to come up. A little about me; I live in the UK, I love to draw, paint, sketch, read & write! I also adore my gorgeous pet cat/companion Sabbath, & if you hadn't guessed by the name I'm a big music fan. Especially older music, generally 70's, 80's, early 90's. I hope to meet some nice new people through doing this and help out some people who are maybe unsure on whether they should buy a certain product, and find their way to my review! That's all for now, folks. x
